Ad Storyline – Hilariously Brilliant!

An elderly woman is sitting on a park bench when her walking stick accidentally falls. She looks at a young boy (Mihir Ahuja) standing nearby, calmly munching on a Cadbury 5 Star, and politely requests:

“Beta, zara meri chhadi utha doge?”

The boy hears her perfectly… but true to the 5 Star spirit, he does absolutely nothing. After waiting for a while, the frustrated aunty decides to get up herself and pick the stick.

The second she stands up and takes a step — BOOM! A massive piano comes crashing down from above and smashes exactly where she was sitting!

Shocked and relieved at the same time, the woman realizes the boy’s “laziness” just saved her life. She turns to him and says gratefully:

“Thank you beta… accha hua tune kuch nahi kiya!”

The boy flashes a cool smile and replies: “Most welcome, maa ji!” — while continuing to enjoy his 5 Star. Pure genius!

Mihir Ahuja as the ultimate “Do Nothing” hero of Cadbury 5 Star!

Meet the Actors

Mihir Ahuja (The Boy)

Mihir Ahuja is a rising star in the Indian entertainment industry, widely recognized for his natural acting and expressive face. Following the viral success of the Cadbury 5 Star campaign, he landed a breakout role as Jughead Jones in Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film "The Archies" (2023). He also received significant acclaim for his performance in the Amazon Prime series "Made in Heaven" and the sports drama "Feels Like Ishq". His filmography includes "Super 30" and the Netflix thriller "Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare", establishing him as a versatile talent in the digital space.

The Veteran Auntie

The elderly lady in the ad, whose perfect comic timing made the "Falling Piano" sequence iconic, is a seasoned character artist from the Indian advertising circuit. While often cast in grandmotherly roles, these veteran performers are the backbone of Indian TVCs. You may recognize her from various FMCG commercials, including ads for MDH Spices, Tata Tea, and various healthcare brands. Her ability to switch from polite requests to frustrated glares provided the perfect contrast to Mihir’s nonchalant "Do Nothing" attitude, making this one of Cadbury's most successful campaigns.
